Eatontown Youth Committee

In 1983 a resolution was passed creating a committee for the purposes of informing the municipality as to the needs of the Borough's youth and for encouraging youth participation in constructive community activities & programs. The Youth Committee has certainly grown throughout the years. It has gone from a group of about 9 students to over 30 participants.

The EYC is made up of students ranging from 7th to 12th grade.  During the year they sponsor several events around the community.  These include: Highway & town clean-ups, Handicapped dances, Fun Day for the Disabled, visits to the Eatontown Senior Centers, a dessert and coffee party at the Meadowbrook Senior Housing Center, pizza & movie nights, bowling outings, volunteer service at various community events, and much more!
